Noxubee Drug Bust

BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A speeding ticket leads to a drug arrest in Noxubee County.

Noxubee County Sheriff Terry Grassaree said Daniel Triplett, 27, is charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Grassaree says Triplett was pulled over last week by the Mississippi Highway Patrol when the drugs were found.

The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is now handling the case.

Triplett was given a $30,000 bond. He has since been released on bond.
