Congressman Nunnelee in Good Spirits After Health Concerns

Washington, D.C. (Press Release) — Today, Congressman Alan Nunnelee (R-Miss) released the following statement:

“Yesterday afternoon, I began experiencing nausea and fatigue. After consulting with the House Attending Physician, it was decided that I should go to the hospital for further consultation. After undergoing an MRI scan, doctors found a small abnormality on the right side of my brain. I am in good spirits, and I hope to be released from the hospital in the next day or two. My family and I appreciate the prayers, support, and well-wishes we have received.”

Congressman Alan Nunnelee represents Mississippi’s First Congressional District. He serves on the House Appropriations Committee and the House Budget Committee. This is his second term.
