Ole Miss Hosts Theatre Festival

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — If you’re a theatre enthusiast, Oxford is the place to be this weekend.

The Mississippi Theatre Association is putting on its annual festival through Sunday at Ole Miss’ Ford Center for the Performing Arts.

Theatre groups from Oxford, Tupelo, Corinth and Starkville – and other Mississippi groups – will be competing.

Participants have to follow strict rules – they only get 20 minutes to rehearse, set up, and break down, and their shows can’t last more than an hour.

Tickets are open to the public, and range from $5 to $25.

Winners will be announced, Sunday.
