Video: One Arrested In Lowndes Hit And Run

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three people are injured in a hit and run crash in northern Lowndes County on Thursday afternoon.

State troopers say a red Ford Mustang driven by Roger McKinney, 53, turned in front of a box truck.

The collision caused the truck to hit another vehicle sitting at the intersection of Highway 45 and Mike Parra Road.

McKinney left the scene.

Eventually, Lowndes County deputies tracked McKinney down on Downs Road.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is charging McKinney with driving with suspended drivers license, no insurance, and leaving the scene of an accident.

No one was seriously injured.
