Video: One Fatality, Four Injuries in Calhoun County Crash

CALHOUN CO. Miss. (WCBI-TV) – One person is dead and four more are injured after a two vehicle crash in Calhoun County Friday afternoon.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the crash on Highway 9.

A Black Ford F-150 Travelling North on Highway 9 crossed the center-line into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a Blue Ford F-150.

The driver of the Blue Ford, Max Miller of Oxford, died en-route to the hospital.

Three passengers in Miller’s truck also sustained moderate injuries. They were taken to Calhoun County Medical Clinic.

The driver of the Black Ford, Jakob Williams of Horn Lake suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The accident remains under investigation by MHP.
