Oxford Clamps Down On Check Crooks

OXFORD, MS (WCBI) – Two people are jailed for passing fake checks in Oxford.

45 year old Amy Moss of Southaven

MOSS

is charged with uttering a forgery after she passed a bogus check for $4950 at Pay Master.  The second case unfolded two days later when a Thaxton man was picked up after he passed 6 forged checks in the city.

HUNTER

40 year old Michael Hunter is facing a $5,000 bond.
