Pedestrian Dies In New Albany

NEW ALBANY, MS (WCBI) -A Union County man is dead after being hit on Interstate 22 in New Albany last night.
New Albany Police Chief Chris Robertson says his department responded to a call of a man being hit by a  car around ten Tuesday evening.   55 year old Terry Biggs of Union County was apparently walking West in the Eastbound lane when he was struck by multiple vehicles.  Robertson says officers interviewed drivers and does not anticipate any charges being filed in the case.  Toxicology tests are being performed and the investigation will remain open until those results are returned
