Prentiss County Authorities Make Drug Arrests

Prentiss Co., Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – On Jan 17th two drug arrests were made as a result of a safety check point.

Jimmy Dale Story, 49, of Corinth and Joshua Corey Huddleston, 31, of Booneville, were arrested at separate times after deputies had arrested them on lesser offenses and then discovered that they were in possession of a controlled substance.

Both Story and Huddleston were found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Story was charged with possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $5,000 but was on Earned Release Supervision with the MS Department of Corrections and has been returned to MDOC custody.  He had numerous misdemeanor charges as well.

Joshua Huddleston was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, enhanced while in possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $5,000 on the Felony Charge and $2,000 on the misdemeanor charges as well as a $743 cash bond.
