Residents Gather For Prayer Rally

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes county residents took time out to gather for a community prayer rally.

It was part of the annual Thanksgiving praise and prayer service.

The group Christian Communities In Prayer sponsor the annual event. The group says it is a firm believer in corporate prayer, where many believers praying in unison is a strong force.

The non-denominational group formed four years ago to sponsor the Day of Prayer held each May and has since added more special services to its list.
