Search Continues For Missing Pontotoc County Man

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Search crews continued combing through the rugged woods of eastern Pontotoc County on Monday night searching for a missing man.

Gerald “Nut” Davis, 60, was last seen Sunday about 4:30 PM going into the woods with his dog, just off Tedford Trail.

Davis is about 6′ and weighs about 170 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and shorts.

Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Randy Roberts says Davis does have diabetes.

Roberts says searchers will be out until Davis is found.

Union County is assisting Pontotoc deputies in the search.
