Shelter Available For Tuesday’s Flood Victims in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss., April 14, 2015, 9:15 p.m.—In response to extended periods of heavy rain and flooding conditions which forced the evacuation of residents in Columbus, Miss., the American Red Cross of North Mississippi has opened a shelter at the request of the Lowndes County EMA.

Those affected by the flooding and by power outages associated with the storm may seek shelter and comfort at the Red Cross shelter located at: Southside Baptist Church, 100 Nashville Ferry Road, Columbus, MS 39701.
