Video: Teen Recovering After Gun Shot

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A 16 year girl was shot in the back around 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers first received a call of shots fired on Main Street.

Almost an hour later, they received a call from the emergency room saying that they had a gun shot victim.

Police went to the hospital and located the victim and she told them what happened.

The shooting was at Suds and Duds after a verbal dispute broke out between two people.
Officers recovered rounds of bullets at the scene and ares till investigating the case.

The young girl was treated and released from hospital.

The Suspect is still at large.
