STARKVILLE, MS (WCBI) –  Two weeks after a proposed tax Increment Financing package to help pay for the project was rejected, a new revised version of the TIF plan is on the table.  Starkville Aldermen will hold a public hearing Tuesday on a proposal that will dedicated all of the property taxes and up to 33 percent of the sales taxes from the project to repay the bonds issued to build the sporting  goods store.  Mayor Parker Wiseman put the new plan on the agenda and  thinks the combination of property and sales tax earmarks will be enough to finally gain approval.  The project developer says if the bonds can be okayed Tuesday,  the original hopes of starting construction in February are still within reach.
