Video: Tishomingo Teen Killed In Car Wreck

IUKA, Miss. (WCBI) – A Tishomingo County High School student is killed in an early morning wreck.

Coroner Mack Wilemon says William Lucas McMahan, 18, was on his way to school.

Wilemon says it was raining when McMahan approached a bridge on Quitman Street in Iuka, near Mineral Springs Park.

The longtime coroner believes the teen hyproplaned.

The 1987 Chevy Blazer hit a bridge and landed upside down in a creek.

McMahan died at the scene.
