Travis Beard Takes Tupelo Ward 3 Special Election Runoff

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — The winner of the Tupelo Ward 3 special election runoff has been decided.

Travis Beard took the election with 437 votes. Opponent James Hull came out of the election with 145 votes.

Beard will finish out the remaining three years of former councilman Jim Newell’s term.

Newell resigned after announcing he was moving to Saltillo.
