Video: Trial Date Set For ISIS Students

ABERDEEN, MS (WCBI) – The two former MSU students accused of attempting to leave the country and join ISIS will face trial June 6th.

Muhammed Dakhlalla of Starkville and Jaelyn Young of Vicksburg are both charged with aiding terrorists.  The pair was arrested back in August as they attempted to board a flight at G-T-R with plans to fly on to Turkey and eventually join forces with the terrorist group.   The court has set a May 23rd deadline for Dakhlalla  and Young to reach a plea deal in the case.   Both are being held without bond.
