Two Arrested for Church Break-In

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Two people are behind bars, accused of breaking into a Webster County church.

Deputies say some items had been stolen from Mt. Hope Church on April 3.

They then searched a vehicle, and charged Chris Lovelace and Tracey Collum with breaking into the church.

Investigators say they later got a search warrant for Lovelace’s home, where they found multiple narcotics and paraphernalia.

They also charged Lovelace and Collum with possession of MDMA, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.

Both are being held in the Webster County jail, awaiting bond.
