UPDATE: Tupelo Company Chosen For Hospital Demolition

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-  Winston County leaders have awarded a contract to a Tupelo company for demolition work at the hospital destroyed by a tornado last year.

Century Construction and Realty of Tupelo, gets the $656,000 contract.

One demolition bid for the work was as high as $1.6 Million.

The Winston Medical Foundation board presented their recommendation to the board of supervisors for approval.

A contractor may not be July 1st.
