VARDAMAN, Miss. (WCBI) – Vardaman police continue looking for the man that held up a convenience store with a knife.

The armed robbery happened about 3:30 AM Sunday at Vardaman Express.

Vardaman Police Chief Kenneth Scott says it appears the robber was driving a silver or gold Nissan or Mazda

Police say the man came into the store and left by himself.

The robber jumped on the counter with about an eight inch knife and got away with $850.

He’s described as a black man about six foot tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

No one was injured.
