Video: Church Camp Nurtures Artistic Side of Youth

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A local church is hosting a music and acting camp for youngsters. Tupelo’s Calvary Baptist Church has been holding the annual camp this week. Children from throughout the area have been practicing music and drama parts for a production called “iAM.” The production is centered around a new app and has a message for young people and adults.

“The subtitle for the musical “iAM is actually, the real life app for all that. And that’s exactly what we’re trying to convey to these children in the course of a week, that there is a lot of things in life competing for our attention but life in Jesus is what it’s all about.”

The camp concludes with a free presentation of the musical Friday evening at six.
