Video: Columbus Assistant Chief May be Latest to Leave

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Columbus Police Department loses another high ranking officer. On the heels of Chief Tony Carleton’s resignation, now Assistant Chief Tony McCoy is planning to retire.

A meeting agenda released Thursday shows McCoy is expected to submit his retirement letter to councilmen at their meeting next week.

It’s effective January 16th.
