Video: Crawford Celebrates Cotton Boll Festival

CRAWFORD, Miss. (WCBI)  – If you’re looking for some family fun this weekend you may want to head down to Crawford.

The 8th Annual Cotton Boll Festival is in full swing, and there is something for the entire family to enjoy.

Friday night was the Youth Explosion event at the Community Center. Attendees enjoyed music and dancing, as well as live poetry.

Crawford’s mayor says the festival has a family atmosphere.

“A family of people in this community, in a way come home to vacation and have a nice time in their hometown and they look forward to it all year”.

The fun continues tomorrow with live Blues and Gospel music..
