Video: East Mississippi Community College Hosts Industry Appreciation Luncheon

MAYHEW, Miss. (WCBI) -Business and Education partner to recognize local industry leaders. East Mississippi Community College held its annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon at the Mayhew campus.

E-M-C-C honored a number of businesses for their contributions to the growth in the area, and industry leaders praised the school for training a superior workforce. Praise E-M-C-C’s president was quick to pass along to the school’s faculty
“Workforce trainers here are as good as anywhere in the nation, and they are all very dedicated and driven, and have a passion for helping young people through education and training to land these good jobs that we now have with these global industries.”

The luncheon was attended by business leaders from all six of the counties EMCC serves..
