TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – The daughter and ex wife of late Lee County Sheriff Harold Ray Presley are behind bars after police say they were caught breaking into a storage building.

It was around midnight Friday when Tupelo police were called to investigate a possible break in at Palmer’s Self Storage on East Main.

Tupelo Police Chief Bart Aguirre says officers found three people inside a storage unit, that belongs to Victory Temple Church.

All three were arrested. Sixty six year old Charlene Presley, 37 year old Jada Presley Harrington and her husband, 39 year old Clint Harrington, are charged with burglary of a commercial building.

“It definitely was not their unit, they had given a story to officer saying that, Ms Presley had a storage unit there, and she probably did at one time, but that was some time ago, she did not currently have a storage unit there,” Chief Aguirre said.

Bond for all three suspects was set at $35,000 each.
