Video: FEMA Rebuilding Experts Coming to Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — It’s just the beginning of the recovery process for many North Mississippi residents, and they may soon be getting more help.

FEMA will be sending some of its mitigation experts to Tupelo this week, to give residents advice on how to build or rebuild their homes.

The goal is to reduce the chance of getting damage during a future severe storm.

The experts will be at the Tupelo Lowe’s on North Gloster Street from Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

They’ll also have free booklets and pamphlets with more details.
