COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A group’s campaign aimed at stopping gun violence makes its way to Columbus.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is challenging students to take a stand against gun violence by signing a banner that will be hung in the hallway of the school.

Organizers hope the display will start a conversation and help stop the violence.

“And reason I’m signing this because I’m a strong advocate against gun violence. Cause its not right, you know people dying.”

The goal of the Kappa League is to reach out to as many Golden Triangle schools as possible.

In addition to Columbus High, the group visited West Lowndes and Starkville High.
