Video: Getting Around Tupelo’s North MS Medical Center Gets a Little Easier

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Christmas came early for Tupelo’s North Mississippi Medical Center.

A free shuttle service launched at the Tupelo campus making it easier for visitors and patients to conquer the hill leading to NMMC’s front entrance.

The NMMC Auxiliary donated the funds for the hospital to buy a 13 passenger shuttle bus and also for the shuttle stops in the parking lot.

The shuttle runs from 9AM to 9PM Monday through Friday and makes four stops.

“It is going really good, we have had a lot of inquiries, and we have been told many times it is a great thing we brought it back, we resurrected this service after being discontinued about ten years ago.”

The bus features perimeter seating , making it easily accessible for passengers. Service is from noon till 8PM Saturday and Sunday.
