WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)-Santa and his elves rolled into West Point on the Holiday Express for its annual tour.

Kansas City Southern Railway’s Holiday Train made a special stop at the Sam Wilhite Transportation Museum.

All ages had a chance to explore the six car train including the gingerbread boxcar and the elves’ workshop.

Santa and his elves were on board as residents toured the Christmas train.

West Point was one out of 21 stops throughout 7 states.

One visitor says the holiday express reminds him of the north pole.

“It’s got a bunch of Santas in it and a bunch of decorations and it’s got a little train going under your feet,” says Donnie Getz.

All the proceeds from the event will go towards the Salvation Army in Columbus.
