Video: Lamar County Living History Museum

VERNON, Al.(WCBI)–A library at South Lamar High School is turned into a museum where familiar characters from our not so distant past come alive for all to see and hear.

Men and women straight from the pages of the history books portrayed by these fifth graders is giving all who visit this Alabama library a better grasp on history.

Not only do museum goers discover these people resurrected from the past, they get researched information on just what impact they made on the lives of us and others.

“Well you may already know considering I’m the most influential physicist of the 20th century. In case you don’t, my name is Albert Einstein. I was born in Germany and I always loved asking questions. I had a passion for classical music and playing violin. I won a nobel prize in physics,” said Stephen Trimm/Albert Einstein.

This is the third year for the living history museum presentation at the Alabama school.
