Video: Local Sorority Promotes Heart Health Awareness

COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) A local sorority is doing its part to raise awareness on heart disease. Today is National Wear Red Day, which seeks to encourage women to keep an eye on their hearts.

The Nu Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. was on hand at Leigh Mall to spread that awareness.

Sorority members provided free blood pressure checks, heart rate screenings and information pamphlets.
