LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — One Louisville Church is giving away the rest of their tornado supplies to those in need.

Volunteers with the Center and Mars Hill Ministries in Louisville were on site Saturday giving out food, toiletry items and other essentials to clean out their inventory.

The facility opened back in may after the April 28th tornado came through Louisville.

Volunteers say they will miss helping others with this ministry.

“By the ministry being opened, I got to meet a lot of people I got to hear a lot of miraculous stories how they were saved and how their lives were spared during the storm so it will be kind of bitter sweet,” says Rosie Harris.

“So we think we’ve met our goals with servicing the community for their initial needs and we’ve done that so we are trying to give back in any way we can,” says Clifton Haynes.

Storm victims also filled out applications at the liquidation to be a part of a $10,000 grant given by the church.
