Video: Mississippi State Dropped From Lawsuit

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi State University has been dropped from a lawsuit filed by a former Bully mascot.

Michaela Mills was injured when a cart carrying a television camera ran over her during the 2013 Egg Bowl.

Mills sued the University and television broadcaster ESPN for $75,000.00 to help cover her medical bills .

MSU has filed court papers saying they had nothing to do with the operation of the camera and Mills has agreed to drop the university from the civil suit.
