MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) – MSU’s Department of Health and Wellness is using t-shirts and creativity to raise awareness about acts of sexual violence.

The university hosted the “Clothesline Project” on the drill field.

The display calls attention to sexual violence against men and women.

Students who have been victims or know someone who was sexually assaulted made t-shirts as a way to express their feelings.

It’s also one way to show show support to survivors

“The fact that these people are survivors and they have really endured a lot, and they have really been through a lot, and I feel like this means a lot to be able to really show that we appreciate what they have been through and that they’re strong and they’re doing a good thing right now.”

The Clothesline Project will be on display on the drill field again from 9 A-M until 3 P-M Thursday.
