PLANTERSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – OptimComfort, Inc., will create 70 jobs over the next three years and move into a 27,000 square foot building next year.

The maker of a specialty mobile lift is investing half a million dollars into the new production facility. The Company already has a showroom in Lee County, so moving production into the area was the next logical step.

OptimComfort President, Angela Howard said, “We try to keep all of our vendors local and we think that we have a great workforce here who unfortunately lost their jobs with the closing down of Lane over the past year and we hope to be able to rebirth some of those jobs.”

“Anytime you have new jobs that means people are being employed and that means revenue for the city the product is fabulous,” said Plantersville Mayor, Gloria Holland

This is the first time OptimComfort will control its own production, because manufacturing had been performed on a contract basis.
