Video: Several Arrested on Drug, Burglary Charges in Monroe Co.

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Several people are arrested in Monroe County in two separate investigations.

Monroe County deputies and Amory police executed a search warrant on K. Avenue in Amory, Friday, and arrested four people for possession of cocaine, and another for possession of methamphetamine.

Garrick Miller, Lance Pack, Alaina Griggs, and Brian Wiggington were arrested for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Johnny Spratt was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

In a separate case, Sunday, deputies arrested four others in connection to a burglary in Gattman.

Charles Chavis was charged with possession of stolen firearm, accessory after the fact of burglary, and possession of paraphernalia.

Brandon Gaines and Alexis Shamlin were charged with accessory after the fact of burglary.

And, Marcus Gilbert was charged with burglary of dwelling, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of paraphernalia.
