TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A local furniture manufacturing company returns to the Tupelo Furniture Market after three years away.

The Lee County based, United Furniture, celebrates the opening of a new show room at the Furniture Market.

The national manufacturing company has 13 plants throughout the country.

The company is also introducing a Simmons-branded case goods line at the market.

Officials from United say they are happy to be back home.

“What we noticed that the customers of the Southeast and the Midwest, they really weren’t attending the High Point or the Vegas markets. So, we felt it important to support that customer base and be back at Tupelo,” Jay Quimby Executive Vice-President of Sales.

The Tupelo Furniture Market kicks off today.
