Video: Yokohama Exec Does Starkville Rotary Lunch

Starkville, Miss.[WCBI]-A Yokohama Tire of Mississippi official was special guest at Starkville Rotary Club Luncheon this afternoon.

Yokohama Tire president Tadaharu (Tad) Yamamoto, re introduced the company to rotarians. Yamamoto told of what types of tires that will be made. He also spoke of the importance of working closely with the local community in order to be successful with the project locating in West Point.

“Actually the Yokohama brand growth in North American market, it depends on the growth of the business here. So we at Yokohama do our best to be successful in this project,” said Tadaharu “Tad” Yamamoto/Yokohama President.

The first phase of Yokohama Tire is expected to employ about 500 people.
