West Point Police Host “Coffee With A Cop”

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – West Point police take a break from fighting crime for a coffee break with residents.

The police department hosted its first “Coffee with a Cop” event Thursday morning at Hardee’s in West Point.

People asked questions and talked about their concerns, over a cup of coffee with officers.

Police Chief Tim Brinkley says “Coffee with a Cop” is one way the department is trying to help unify the community.

Brinkley says there will be more “Coffee with a Cop” events in the near future.
