Video: EMCC Beats ICC 48-24, Wins Third-Straight In Series

SCOOBA, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – EMCC built a lead Saturday against ICC before much of the focus the turned to the game’s altercations.

The Lions (4-1, 3-0 North) led 24-0 at halftime after gaining 399 yards on offense. Louisville native Wyatt Roberts paced EMCC at quarterback, throwing two first-half touchdowns. ICC (2-3, 1-2 North) scored 24 second-half points in the loss, closing the gap to 31-10 early in the fourth quarter.

EMCC head coach Buddy Stephens complied with a request to leave the sidelines after he and a game official had an altercation on the field in the second half. The official was escorted out of the stadium. Additionally, two EMCC players were ejected in two separate incidents.
