Information Regarding the 2nd Annual MSU Bulldog Splash Benefit Tournament

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Mississippi State Fishing team will be hosting its second annual Bulldog splash benefit tournament this Saturday on Columbus lake out of the east bank.

Boat ramp registration starts at 4am and boat numbers will be given out in the order that you register. All proceeds will go to benefit the team to help them keep fishing. Last year’s tournament raised about 900 dollars for the team.

If you are not interested in fishing the team will be set up at the boat ramp throughout the day selling T shirts so come by and check us out.

Saturday’s tournament will pay out $1,000 for first place and for every five boats we will pay another place. There will be a optional $10 big fish pot that will pay back 100% to the largest fish caught.

The MSU Fishing Team already has 1 boat qualified for the Bassmasters college series national championship, 2 boats qualified for the Boat US national championship, and 2 boats qualified for the FLW college series regional event.
