Oktibbeha County Escapee Captured In Minutes

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville school was briefly placed on lock-down Monday, after an inmate escaped custody.

Alvin Davis took off as a jailer was escorting him from one location to another early this afternoon.

He was in handcuffs at the time of his escape and only made it down the street before deputies caught up with him.

Davis was was arrested Sunday night.
