Columbus Man Arrested For Domestic Violence

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man is behind bars after being charged with domestic violence.
On Tuesday, the Columbus Police Department responded to a residence on 5th Street North in reference to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, Officers determined a domestic disturbance had occurred.

During the investigation, Thomas Morgan Jr. was identified as one of the suspects and a warrant was obtained for Domestic Violence – Aggravated Assault and Strangulation.

On Thursday, Morgan was formally charged and taken before Columbus Municipal Court Judge Marc Amos.

Bond was set at $100,000.00
