Update: New Albany Teen Found

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – New Albany police have located the missing teen from New Albany, Amanda Dees. They found her in Tippah County, with the help of Tippah County Sheriff Carl Gillard.

They took her into custody at 6:30 p.m. and will turn her over to her parents and the Department of Human Services.

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – New Albany police are searching for an apparent runaway teenager. Investigators believe Amanda Dees, 17, packed up some clothes and left home out of a bedroom windown.

Officers were first notified early Sunday morning.

Investigators believe Dees was picked up by a black male driving a maroon and black car.
