Video: “Angel Babies” Remembered

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – For Some, October 15th is just another day, but for others, it has a significant meaning.
On Thursday, families who have lost a baby to soon gathered to remember their little “angel babies”.

Parents and siblings from the community released pink and blue balloons into the sunset to honor those they have lost.

Each balloon had a special message written to their little loved one.

The month of October is dedicated to raise awareness of the rising number of still births, miscarriages and infant loss after only a few days after birth.

This is the second year for the event.
