COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – After 10 months with an interim superintendent, the Columbus school board officially will begin discussing what they want in someone to feel the job permanently. The board will meet with its search consultants at 8:30 Tuesday morning to begin laying out a hiring process. Part of the discussion will be about skills the new superintendent will need to oversee the district. A timetable, application deadlines, interviews and other schedules also will be finalized.
