STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Whether you have a green thumb, or are just a novice gardener, there is something for everyone at the “Everything Garden Expo” in Starkville this weekend. The 2 day event features exhibits, demonstrations, and speakers offering tips to both hobby and professional gardeners to get their plants, flowers, and veggies growing.

The Starkville Area Arts Council hosts the annual event.

“This year’s event is unique, because it focuses on the novice gardener,” said SARC President, Ellen Boles. “We have a lot of speakers and demonstrations that are catering to people that really have little or no experience in gardening.”

The “Everything Garden Expo” continues through Saturday. Rita Randolph will be the keynote speaker Saturday. Doors open at 9:00 A.M.
