STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The Starkville-Oktibbeha school board got an update Tuesday night on the Generation S Project, which is formally known as the Studio School.
50 elementary through high school students are currently in the class, where they learn by designing.
The class focuses on a range of topics, from engineering and music, to law.
“We hope that the district will continue to understand what a huge role it is for them to play in scientific research,” said Dr. Kay Brocato, Generation S Project.
The program started in 2003.
More than 94 percent of participants have finished high school, or are on track to do so.
