Coliseum Drive Renamed to Honor Former Ole Miss Football Player

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Oxford is honoring the life and legacy of former Ole Miss football player Chucky Mullins.

Coliseum Drive was renamed Chucky Mullins Drive.

Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews Tuesday were placing signs along Highway 6-278 in Oxford.

A dedication ceremony has been slated for Friday.

MDOT expects to be finished with the project sometime today.
