GOLDEN TRIANGLE, Miss. (WCBI)  — A Starkville man and Columbus hairdresser has been ensnared in the very public divorce of Southaven mayor Greg Davis.

Davis’ ex-wife, Suzann, has filed an alienation of affection lawsuit in Desoto County Circuit Court, blaming Starkville hair dresser Janson Fair for destroying her marriage and stealing her husband and financial security.

And the the Lowndes County native wants $1 million in damages against Fair, who works in Columbus.

In the lawsuit, Suzann, a Lowndes County native, alleges she found out about the affair between Greg Davis and Fair when she discovered a message meant for her husband in April 2010. She claims the message from Fair said how much he was looking forward to spending time with David in Las Vegas “locked away in bed in each others arms.”

Greg Davis nor Fair could be reached for comment.

If Suzann Davis wins $1 million, it would be the largest alienation of affection verdict in the state’s history.
