Video: Noxubee Weather Damage

NOXUBEE, Miss. (WCBI) — Straight line winds from a weather pattern are responsible for damages to an area near Highway 14 East and south of Paulette Road in Noxubee County.

The Sunday night winds knocked down power lines and toppled over trees. A chicken house on Paulette Road there was damaged at a Noxubee County poultry business.

Pieces of tin blown by the windy conditions could be seen Monday in a nearby field. An irrigation system was turned upside down. By noon, progress by Four County EPA had been made to restore power to about 500 customers effected by those straight line winds.
